Each member of the team will agree to conduct an audio-taped interview with a consenting colleague using either a science or mathematics task-based interview protocol. Dr. H will provide (via email) the interview protocol documents, including task sheets, used in the evaluation study of the Math-Science Partnership. NOTE: If a team so desires, one person can interview the other person on a two-person team with one protocol (e.g., math) and then the team members can switch roles and use the other protocol (e.g., science). Each member of the team will collaborate with team member(s) in shared methods for gathering, discussing, and analyzing the interviews. Each team will report (next week, 7/19) to the class on the results of their preliminary analysis of the interview(s). Plan for the interviewing and analysis, including timeline, due tomorrow, Tues., 7/12.
