  • Develop summary (2-sheets, max) for chosen topic in Informal and Alternate K-12 mathematics education environments [museums, broadcast media, prisons, state hospitals, alternate high schools, students with special needs (e.g., cognitive/psychological challenges, use of IEPs, gifted and talented education (GATE), English language learners (ELL), etc.), funding opportunities (e.g., NSF, U.S. Dept. of Ed.), etc.].
  • Prepare 1-page handout on overview book. Bring 8 copies to class on 11/25.
