I have been
employed at UNC since 1986 and became
Full Professor in 1990.
My
research has been concentrated on:

Computational modeling of traumatic brain injuries

Development of a universal brain injury tolerance criterion

Representation theory of Lie groups and algebras

Applications
of group representation theory in physics
I have been also involved
in mathematics and science education research as well as in the
development of multilingual software.
