Prerequisites for Courses

For those wishing to pursue a career in the computer industry or to go on to graduate school in computer science. Computer Science is a difficult field and it is not for everyone. It requires the ability to think logically and in a step-by-step manner.

There are rewards for choosing the computer science emphasis. The demand for computer technical people is very high, and it is expected that this demand will continue for the foreseeable future. This large demand means that salaries are high for computer science graduates. Students should stay in close contact with their advisor to ensure that the sequential and timely nature of the courses are understood and met.
